It was the time of Silicon Valley and the open source philosophy was going great!

This is how we make... American Pale Ale

With a deep yellow-orange color, Open Gold has a fine and thick, very persistent head. Notes of malt reach the nose and evoke the aromas of biscuits, yellow ripe fruit, with a light touch of spices and citrus fruit.

The taste confirms the scents: the notes of biscuit perfectly blend with the spices and the bitterness that stays in the mouth until the end of the sip.

Water, barley malt, hops, spices, sugar, yeast

Open Gold originates as Open Baladin, the first Italian open source beer. Those were the years of the Silicon Valley and the open source philosophy was everywhere. This inspired Teo to develop a plan to accelerate the spreading of the culture of beer in Italy.

The idea of sharing knowledge in the beer sector exploded with the launch of this beer, which had no secrets. In fact, everyone was invited to reproduce it and share the experience. The next step was the opening of the first Open Baladin bar in Cinzano. For the first time in Italy, more than one hundred different labels of Italian craft beer were showcased, available to consumers who wanted to taste or buy them. The open era of beer had begun.
