A real journey through ingredients

SUD DI BALADIN

This is how we make... WITBIER

A yellow, hazy beer with a white head, it has distinctive scents of cereals and citrusy aromas of tangerine and coriander, as well as fresh notes of hops. The taste, too, is characterized by citrusy notes.

These are perfectly counterbalanced by tastes of cereals which blend with delicate hints of burnt orange zest, brought out by the Baladin yeast. On the whole, it is a fresh beer that is easy to drink.

Yet, is has a strong character that becomes bolder with raising temperatures, until it releases unexpected scents of orange blossom honey.

SUD DI BALADIN
history

Sud di Baladin is created as a limited edition to thank the lands of southern Italy, the source of amazing ingredients. A 100% Italian beer, Teo Musso calls it an Italian Mediterranean Ale. In creating it, he has taken inspiration from the tastes and scents that come back to his mind whenever he thinks of his travels through these lands full of colors, warmth, sun and hospitality.

Sud di Baladin is a combination of ingredients that speak of Basilicata, Puglia, Campania, Calabria and Sicily. They symbolically meet the north and Piozzo through the water from the Maritime Alps, while the yeast selected and grown at the brewery perfectly ties all ingredients together and magically completes them.

Sud di Baladin is part of the From the Earth to Beer project, which embodies Baladin’s commitment to promote craft beer made entirely with Italian ingredients.
