Consorzio Birra Italiana is founded to safeguard Italian craft production

 

Yesterday June 20th, 2019, at the Coldiretti* headquarters in Roma, Consorzio Birra Italiana  was presented. The Consortium has been created to safeguard Italian craft beer. Its aim is to guarantee the origin of the ingredients used in the production of craft beer and strengthen its authentic Italian identity.

Craft breweries that are committed to use at least 51% Italian ingredients can join the Consortium. Its President is Teo Musso, who has based his entire experience as agricultural entrepreneur on these principles.
