The first 100% Italian beer with freshly harvested hops

NAZIONALE LUPPOLO FRESCO 2022

This is how we make... Blonde Ale

Straw-yellow beer with a cream-colored, rather persistent head.

It fills the nose with fresh, resinous scents with herbaceous hints. The use of 4 aromatic varieties (Cascade, Chinook, Comet, Cashmere) of fresh hop flowers grown in Italy, in Piedmont, further enriches the aromas of Nazionale. The initial malty taste blends with fruity esters from the yeast and pleasant herbaceous notes. The finish is marked by a very contemporary bitter touch.

Only 3,000 cans of Nazionale luppolo fresco 2022 will be produced to make sure it is enjoyed soon after brewing, with all the freshness of its aromas.

NAZIONALE LUPPOLO FRESCO 2022
history

Every fall, a special edition of Nazionale is brewed once to celebrate the new hops, used while they are still extremely fresh. Harvested at the end of summer in the fields in Piozzo, just a few hundred meters from the brewery, the fresh hops are processed and used just a few days later.

Every year, all the staff excitedly awaits Nazionale Luppolo Fresco, which pays back for the hard work that began in the fields and continued in the brewery. It is only available in casks, as it should be drunk when it’s fresh to fully enjoy its bouquet. To allow everyone to taste it, 3.000 cans were produced in limited series. We know they will soon run out but - as we said - it’s a beer that should be drunk fresh!
