The prestigious Italian magazine Gambero Rosso, in the issue of September 2020, awards Cola Baladin in a blind test, set to establish the best premium soft drinks made with kola nuts.

HERE you can read the article, article, which describes how always more frequently premium soft-drinks are being preferred in a market that usually is prerogative market of multinational companies like Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola.

The tasting panel, composed of mixologists, sommeliers, beer and food experts highlighted how: "The results, achieved by organic products, which contains no coloring, no preservative and without damaging additives, are truly excellent."

Cola Baladin was exalted for its purity and aromatic expressiveness, combined with great drinkability.

Furthermore, we were also commended for our ethical choice and communication.

The colour: Ruby red to explain - provocatively - that the kola nut is not "brown" as people may think but has a colour ranging from white to bright red, to tones of fuchsia.

The idea: For our Kola we use Kenema kola nuts (Sierra Leone – Africa), Slow Food Presidium. This idea was born thanks to Teo and Carlin Petrini, in order support concretely and communicate the farmers’ community of Kenema. Part of the proceeds of Cola Baladin sales are given to the Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity Onlus, which redistributes it.

Cola Baladin is made in Piozzo by B.Botanic. This company was born for the Baladin soft-drinks production and it is an incubator of R&D for new soft-drinks.
