HISTORY OF BALADIN CAFE' SALUZZO

100%

This café, which overlooks the main square in Saluzzo, where the statue of writer Silvio Pellico stands out, was opened on January 14, 2011. Located on the ground floor of one of the palaces which build the historical centre of Saluzzo, its rooms are reminiscent of old semi clandestine meetings and their furniture still evokes those times and atmosphere. The skilled work by Marina Obradovich and the Baladin “crew”, headed by Teo, has created a little place to enjoy moments of pure relax and sip the excellent draught Baladin beers. At lunch or dinner time, guests can taste the delicious dishes of the Baladin Café kitchen. In spring and summer, the inside court – reminiscent of “Casablanca” – and the large outdoor space on the square, with its small tables, ensure that you can always find a space to spend an afternoon or an evening in good company, quietly enjoying Baladin beers, cocktails and the tasty food on the menu. The atmosphere inspired by old and “sleazy” harbor bistros and the fascinating “Arsenic and Old Lace” air, straight out of an Agatha Christie novel, are certainly two good reasons to visit Saluzzo and enjoy, in addition to the beer and food of Baladin Cafe, the historical attractions of this beautiful town.
