The new Baladin pub and burger joint is placed in the Departure area of the Turin Airport, in a space that can be accessed after the security checks.

 

The “live” beers produced in Piozzo are served in a large box of Nazionale beer, the symbol of 100% Italian craft beer. This little gem of a gastropub also offers burgers and high-quality dishes to its customers.

 

The bar has 4 taps serving Nazionale, the first 100% Italian craft beer, as well as the Open range of beers: White (white wheat beer), Gold (pale ale) and Amber (amber ale).

 

In addition to draught beers, customers can find all the bottles and cans in the wide range of Baladin beers, as well as the barley wines from the Baladin cellar.

 

The kitchen serves high quality burgers made with beef by La Granda (Slow Food Presidium of the Piedmontese cattle breed) and local ingredients, such as robiola di Roccaverano (a soft goat cheese). A vegetarian option is also available, as well as pork shank cooked with Brune beer – a dish that our aficionados particularly appreciate.

 

The menu includes the renowned “fatate” - freshly-made potato chips, with their unique and creative flavors - as well as focaccia and cold dishes of the day.

 

As for desserts… Birramisù and Birramigiù are made respectively with Open Amber and Open White.

 

Beer, of course, perfectly combines with our dishes. The same is true of the Baladin soft drinks: Cola (Slow Food Presidium), Cedrata, Ginger, Spuma Nera and Mela Zen.

 

Targeting an international audience, the working team that developed the design of this new gastropub took inspiration from the symbol of the Italian nature of the Baladin beers: its Nazionale. The place has about 50 seats and a small “outdoor” area, and it develops around a large box with graphics and messages about Nazionale. As befits the place, a screen shows the flight departure times.

 

Finally, a space is devoted to the exhibition and sale of Baladin products, with its full range of beer bottles, as well as the room fragrances and T-shirts of the brand.

 

Teo Musso comments on his new adventure: “When the space in the renewed and wonderful passenger area of the Turin Airport was offered to me, I immediately and enthusiastically embraced the idea. This new Baladin place is a unique opportunity to present our Italian, Piedmontese craft beer to people coming from all over Italy and the world”.
